Explore the historic Bankfoot Heritage House

With Mt Tibrogargan as a backdrop, Bankfoot Heritage House is a state heritage-listed property established in 1868. It is the oldest surviving residence in the Glass House Mountains and the last surviving Cobb & Co staging post and lunch stop on the route from Brisbane to the Gympie goldfields. Bankfoot House has been in the same family for 134 years, making it a unique and authentic heritage property.

The precinct offers a full museum experience including the residence, staging post and post office. There is a virtual reality First Nations app, films, free guided house tours, and self-guided tours of the shed and grounds.
